| A Romantic Setting
Spetchley Park is one of Worcestershire’s
best kept secrets – a most romantic garden
with smaller, more intimate gardens, just perfect
for a special day that’s unique in every
way.
This wonderful Marquee venue, which borrows
the Berkeley family’s private home as a spectacular
backdrop, is blessed with sweeping lawns, beautiful
vistas and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Meander through the copse, listen to the wind
in the tall pines as Elgar did, and enjoy the delicious
pineapple-scented flowers in the Melon Yard. Wind
your way through archways laden with cascading
roses and tumbling clematis, or steal a kiss in
the Bath stone alcove, which bears a loving inscription
from Mr. Berkeley’s grandfather to his wife.
The world-renowned composer, Edward Elgar, was
a regular visitor to Spetchley Park, which inspired
him to write Dream of Gerontius. You and your guests
can follow in his footsteps and stroll
through this charming garden
at
leisure.
You might like to pose
for photographs – perhaps
on the wrought iron bridge to the Long Walk, or
in the Millennium Garden. The Venue overlooks
Spetchley’s beautiful 3 acre lake, with distant
views of the seventeenth century deer park.
Spetchley is also available for garden parties,
concerts and plays.
A Business Venue
In addition to wedding receptions and private
functions, the Venue is available for corporate
entertaining and business networking, in peaceful,
open surroundings easily accessed from the motorway.
The garden’s beauty lends itself to product
launches, fashion shoots, television commercials
and filming.
